BARRHORN - GETTING CLOSER TO THE 4000M
At 3,610 meters, the Barrhorn is one of the highest Alpine peaks accessible without high-altitude equipment. The altitude and length of the hike are the only real difficulties, making this climb a nice challenge.

About The Event
Day 1: we will travel by public transport to the beautiful unspoiled valley of Turtmann, before climbing to the Turtmannhütte through changing landscapes (approx. 800m elevation gain)
Day 2: We will climb to the Üssers Barrhorn, at 3'610m, where our breaths will be shorter due to elevation and incredible panoramas (approx. 1150m elevation gain) ! Long descent back to the valley (approx. 1,850 m descent).
Degree of difficulty: very demanding (see Useful information)
Price: 380 CHF, night and half-board included (CHF 20.- reduction for alpine club members)
